The process:
This book was a beautiful challenge to illustrate, since we had such an incredible theme. I defined a color palette that could convey what each of the pages showed us. The main palette was red and yellow. I highlighted the details of the pages, such as the sewing shelves, the threads and all the fabrics, since we don't have double illustrations and the details made a difference in telling the story.
