What I did: Illustrations, formatting, organization of the book for printing
The process:
The book is part of a series of books about two sisters and their family traveling to incredible places. To begin with, we already had the main characters, so I just adapted them to my style. What helped a lot in the development was the writer sending me several references to the places, as she didn't know many of them. After much research, the scenes were created and studied in the best way possible for each event. I really like thinking about the layout along with the perspective of the illustrations, even more so because they are real places to be portrayed. And the cool thing about the story is that we hide an animal on each page so that the reader can find it.
