Visits that happened upon invitation from teachers/directors during Children's Month in 2023 in 4 schools in the city of Erechim - RS.

The first school I visited was the Caras Pintadas Municipal Elementary School - Erechim. The activity was to encourage children to think about their dream coat (following the book A casa do Coat, written by Joemir Rosset). We encouraged children's creativity to think beyond and also their memory, since the coat needed to be their favorite.
The second school was Colégio Marista Medianeira - Erechim. Using the same approach of using creativity and thinking about the coat, I answered some questions about book illustration, as the school was promoting a super cool project to create a children's book for the children.
The third school was ESC Est Ens Med Prof Joao Germano Imlau - Erechim. The same activity was proposed and the students really liked it. I received letters of encouragement that moved me.
We were also at the URI Base School - Erechim, to present the book and answer some questions about the development of the illustrations and writing. I received questions about the drafting process, colors, how to transfer illustrations to digital and what the day-to-day life of an illustrator is like. It was very interesting.
