Mishi and Mashi go to Austria
Written by: Mary George
What I did: Illustrations, layout, finalization of files and formats.
The process:
This continuation of Mishi and Mashi's adventure symbolizes their adventure through many perspectives and architecture. I researched each of the buildings for the scenes a lot and the most interesting thing is that the author sent me illustrations with her daughters' perceptions on the trip, which helps me a lot when creating the scenes and conveying the feeling I need to the reader. In this book, we used more perspectives, more details and also a lot of light and shadow. I think this made a difference in each of the illustrations, trying to show the real meaning of each place in the book. The color palette was distinct and full of depth.
